Kingdom of the crystal skull
Kingdom of the crystal skull in the real world. No its not a horrific idea for a MTV reality show. However, it IS a horrific show with ex msnbc host Lester Holt about how the world will end on 12-21-2012. I was riveted. Mainly by my amazement of how a crystal skull produces extreme stupidity in people. Wow its shiny, it must be magic. Its just a freakin skull people get over it, stay in school, please.
Venice Art Walk
There’s a usual or unusual art presence on the boardwalk at Venice, and the art varies from quite extraordinarily good, to hey i made this with garbage and used ketchup and mustard to paint it- can you tell- umm yes we can. I actually have had artists approach me and ask me to give them my opinion on what their art work is worth. For the most part my answer comes back as “what did you pay for the canvas?” This should be a fun time though, I’m sure we’ll be seeing the best of what Venice has to offer.
Many artists show off their style for 2 days on the boardwalk. Bid on art, tour homes, eat some great Venice food. All the proceeds go to benefit Venice Family Clinic, providing free, quality health care to people in need.
96 Potheads are going to jail in San Diego
96 frat kids arrested after raid on San Diego Campus (reported by the Los Angeles Times). Proof yet again, that hiding things in the wide open just makes them easy to find. I wonder if someone actually said that it was only green cereal. Genius planning frat boys. Next time hide the pot in your mattress. And i wonder if any of them were stoned when the cops came in? The only way this could have been better is if the ASU cheerleaders were involved.

Puma Urban Mobility GLOW IN THE DARK Bike
Puma and Biomega have come together for the third year in a row to produce an ultra urban bicycle. Great for going to the office, going on a date, or even just riding for the fun of it. Last year they were selling a very similar bicycle however only in grey and red. This year they have something totally different. This one glows in the dark!
Awesome!
Kindle: who buys this shit?
K- i dont get it. I dont understand why Amazon is selling these and i really dont understand why people are buying them so quickly that they cant manufacture enough. They actually apologize about the lack of product on their front page.
Why not read the book on your laptop, or buy a freakin paper copy. I dont care how sharp this pile of a display is its not going to be as good as my laptop, and my laptop lets me do so many other fund things so i dont have to read. Oh and BTW this thing costs $400- but you can get your book in minutes- even in the back of a cab- WTF. There is no freakin way anyone under 45 is buying these- is there? I really cant believe this pile is selling. I mean look at it its straight out of 15 years ago.
Here’s an educated review of the Kindle and the ASUS Eee
Fat For Good, Fat For Life
Scientists in Sweden have found that your fat cells are set at birth, and no amount of dieting will ever change that number. Well, the good thing is that not all fat cells have to be active fat cells, but the news is that once you have them they are always crying out for more. Another thing to watch out for (although if you are reading this its too late for you) fat cells increase in number during childhood but once adolescence is reached do not change in number. Keep your kids thin is the point i guess.
Pacific Ferris Wheel: Santa Monica
Last rides on the wheel tonight. Say goodbye Santa Monicans to your Pacific Ferris Wheel. The good news is that the rides today are free. They actually have been all week. The Pacific Ferris Wheel was purchased by Grant Humphreys for Oklahoma City who wants to bring a little pacific to Texas. No need to cry for the Ferris Wheel leaving though, because a bigger better version of the Pacific Wheel will take its place shortly.
