The U.S. Government sure has its Drug Lingo Down

My last post made me think that my drug linguistic skills are not up to par. I did a little research and found that the U.S. Government actually will help you out if you want to brush up. So next time you want a fix don’t just say i want some Ecstasy go all out and tell them you want some Disco Biscuits, Batmans, or Bermuda Triangles.

How Bad is The U.S. Economy- Drug Dealers Don’t Want Anything To Do With It

It looks like not only is the U.S. Economy completely falling apart but now we won’t even be able to get high. Cocaine, my friends, among other illicit substances, is leaving the states for the greater continental Europe. The BBC reports the strength of the Euro may be increasing availability of cocaine in Europe and explaining the decline of supply (I need my coke) in the U.S. After all drug dealers are just business men, we can’t blame them or taking their product somewhere else. All we can do now is hope for the cut shit to keep coming in. I gotta call my connection and buy some 2008 options on this.

The Euro has been beating up on the Dollar for a while now on Friday the Euro hit $1.5825. I guess going to Europe to buy the coke is out of the question at this point. Well at least we still have pot- we do still have pot right? Don’t take the pot away please don’t…….

Film Festival in Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Film Festival opens this June the 19th of the year 2008 in Westwood. Its an annual event held in June showcasing American and Foreign films over ten days. The festival allows the public to interact with some of the worlds best Actors, Directors, and up and coming stars. The festival started in 1995 under the name: Los Angeles International Film Festival (LAIFF)

In the past it has screened movies such as Dead Man, starring Johnny Depp, and Happy Endings, starring Lisa Kudrow. Some past winners include:

Audience Award for Best International Feature March of the Penguins, directed by Luc Jacquet

This year’s screenings have not yet been set. However submissions are closed.

I did find that Hot Chicks made it in. From what i gather its based on the comics of Jack T. Chick.

ThinkGeek.com sells all sorts of geeky products but the one that caught my eye was the Wifi T-shirt. The shirt will give the impression of being the most connected person on your block. Hot chicks will approach you and want to connect to and with you. I’m gonna buy one of these for my dog- i hope its waterproof.

Wow, a child favorite of mine is coming to the Hollywood bowl. TOM PETTY and the HEARTBREAKERS. I love Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. I lost my virginity to them. Oh god- no wait- not like to them i mean i was listening to them. Really it wasnt like a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers gang bang that i lost my virginity, it was just a song, really i swear. I think i may have been alone actually.

I think everyone should go see them- no wait i take that back no one should go see them so i can go get tickets.

Ain’t Gonna Play With Lawyers

For the most part most people do not appreciate the righteous side of legal representation and the good people that work in the legal industry. Law offices are some of the most pleasant places to be in, in fact i’ve often scheduled family picnics in conference rooms because i enjoyed the atmosphere so much. Lawyers are the human equivalent of fairy god mothers granting you peace of mind and calming all of the tensions that come with human existence. Why Flying Now Sucks (even more)

If you have ever flown with me, and most of you have not, cause i’ve really only flown with one other person, and you know who you are- i digress, then you know i’m deathly afraid of flying. Superman would tell me that my fear is irrational, that flying is still the safest way to travel. Yes, yes Superman I know you have said this many times. However, i recently came upon an article in the WSJ titled “Airline Regulators Grapple With Engine-Shutdown Peril!” about engine de-icing- more appropriately though- ENGINE ICING and SHUTTING DOWN!!!!! The point was that there is an alarming new phenomenon amongst large jet liners that makes their engines turn off. Its called high altitude icing and i guess what happens is ice forms then melts then the engine flames go out (they call these flame outs- i think rather appropriate- it was either that or HOLY SHIT!- but that seemed vague) When the engines turn off the pilot or pilots, should there be more than one, fill their pants and pray that the engines restart. The article went on to mention that the chances of this happening to both engines at the same time were like a billion to one, and right away they started to cite example after example of exactly the above scenario. Well, next time i fly i will be paying very close attention to the fire on both engines. If they go out I’m gonna just start making out with my wife.
