LA Times has a segment on Kobe Bryant- Pictures through the years
33 pictures of the Laker great who will likely be awarded his first MVP this year. Pretty interesting to see the progression through the photos. Not all of these are great but some are pretty cool.

George Hurrell Photography Exhibit. January 8- June 29th at the California Heritage Museum
Mr. Hurrell worked for MGM, WB, and Columbia. Shot some of the world’s most famous people. Check out California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Lots of pictures to see and a lecture series.

They also have George Hurrell’s Bio there: The man dubbed the “Grand Seigneur of the Hollywood Portrait,” was born in Covington, KY, across the river from Cincinnati, in 1904. By the time he was eight, young George Hurrell had developed an interest in painting and drawing.
